Fuddy Meers

by David Lindsay-Abaire

“Claire’s journey of self-knowledge and forgetfulness is really entertaining, but it is also edifying… you’re in another dimension of pure entertainment.”– The Blurb

“The show is teaming with uniquely flawed characters and punchy one-liners…the sadder past of domestic violence and abuse is handled with the same authenticity as the physical gags and slapstick.”– Vibewire

  • STORY

Fishy Productions along with the Darlinghurst Theatre, produced the Australian Premier of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Fuddy Meers. A rollercoaster of a play, Claire, an amnesiac mother, is kidnapped by a mysterious limping man and they meet up with a jail-escapee with a sock puppet. Leading them through a hysterical maze of bedlam, will Claire find the clarity she seeks by the end of the day?
